MEET MARY & FRED

As Island residents, we just love living here! As Island Realtors we enjoy helping others find their home in paradise and believe that an informed client can make the best decisions. It is our objective to offer clients local knowledge of the Islands with attention to details. Whether you are buying or selling, our mission is to make it a great experience!
On our first visit to Sanibel, we planned to visit friends for a day, but stayed a week - and moved the next month! As we crossed the old draw bridge that first time, seeing the dolphins surface and the pelicans flying in formation with our car, we knew this was going to be a special place.

Mary was born in Tipperary, Ireland, and grew up in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She still relishes family trips back to the Emerald Isle to reunite with family and friends. After college, Mary joined the Air Force and following active duty, transferred to the Pennsylvania Air National Guard.  Mary was a stay at home mom for sixteen years with our two children, John and Bonnie, before she earned her Florida Real Estate License

I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, and graduated from the Missouri School of Mines and Metallurgy (B.S. Mechanical Engineering) and later from the University of Arkansas (M.S. Management). After retiring as an Air Force Officer and Commercial Airline Captain I earned my Florida Real Estate Brokers License.

Mary and I have enjoyed living and raising our children on Sanibel Island.  Both of our children attended the Sanibel School. John is now a senior at Bishop Verot High School, playing varsity football. Bonnie is a sophomore at BVHS and has sung and performed at various venues around the Island and now at high school.

We are active in our church: John teaches Sunday School, Bonnie assists in the nursery, Mary is president of the Sanibel Christian Women in Mission (SCWIM), and I am a trustee.  Mary has continually been involved in volunteer activities at the school and other organizations on Sanibel, still finding time to teach Aqua Fitness. Additionally she is a docent at the Shell Museum. I am a member of Kiwanis and a volunteer at the Sanibel Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF).   Mary and I enjoy our annual trips to Basel, Switzerland, where I am an active carnival participant in one of the oldest cliques. Fasnacht is a three day celebration held in the winter.

Mary and I would like you to consider us “Your Pair in Paradise if you, or someone you know, may have an interest in learning more about a home, condominium, seasonal rental or investment property.  Whether it is general or specific information, we can provide it.
